This is one of Nora Roberts early romances.  It was interesting to read -- although a little dated in its views of women working.  You could tell it was written in the 1980s with all of its discussion of "business women".

This book reminded me of The Thief by Meghan Whalen Turner in its style and characters. The only difference was that I knew exactly what was coming almost the whole time. Even so, I did enjoy listening to this book.

This is the first book of the Ascendance Trilogy

What will the small tourist town of Tinker's Cove do?  All this centers around the nudists taking over the town. What will Lucy do?  Star Spangled Murder is a light summer read that is beach worthy.

Swimsuit is a typical James Patterson novel (this one written with Maxine Paetro). This book was the first full novel I have ever downloaded from the library's e-book collection onto my Kindle and actually read.  The Kindle is a light and easy way to read some of the thicker books character to James Patterson.

In Swimsuit, reporter Ben Hawkins has to uncover who is killing swimsuit models in Hawaii and other women around the world. The murders are committed in shocking and gruesome ways (typical James Patterson).  What follows is twists and suspense that will definitely have you wanting to read to the end.

What could be more appropriate then to read a wedding murder mystery book at the start of peak wedding season? Leslie Meier writes a holiday cozy murder mystery series with Lucy Stone as her heroine.   Lucy has a way of getting involved in situations she should not, which inevitably ends in her solving a murder mystery of some type.  Her sleuthing usually comes in handy as she is a reporter for the local paper called the Pennysaver in Tinker's Cove, Maine.  In this book, Lucy has to solve the mystery of who killed the out of town groom who just also happens to be the future son-in-law of Lucy's close friend.  Lucy does all this while managing a household of four children and a husband who would prefer a stay at home wife.  This is a very light (even lighter when read on a Kindle) and entertaining read!!

I found this book interesting and intriguing. In the city of Basilica women are the rulers, and men cannot own property inside the city. Some people said that they knew exactly what was going to happen, but I must not be that smart, because I was intrigued and pleasantly surprised at the turns in the plot.

The Memory of Earth is the first book in the Homecoming series. I listened to the audiobook on Overdrive.

I listened to the audiobook on Overdrive which I really enjoyed. The narrator was great.

I love this children's classic! It's all around sweet, though the ending might make you cry. I read the e-book from MoLib2Go.
