Alec and Magnus are on their first vacation as a couple.  Both are hoping to take their relationship further.  However, their plans are ruined when rumors reach them that a cult is trying to raise a demon and somehow everyone believes Magnus is the leader.  Now, they must work together to clear Magnus' name and stop the cult.

I really enjoyed this book.  It both gives a look into Alec and Magnus' relationship and reveals more of Magnus' past.  It is a must read for those who enjoy the Mortal Instruments series.

This is a collection of short stories set in the Shadowhunters world.  They all focus on the warlock character Magnus Bane.  He is one of my favorite characters within that world and I really enjoyed reading these stories featuring his exploits.  A definite must read for fans of the series.

This is a collection of short stories within the Shadowhunter world.  They all revolve around the Shadow Market and the search for the lost Herondale.  I enjoyed these stories that fleshed out the Shadowhunter world.  Fans of the series should definitely read this book.

Alec and Magnus leave their son Max with Alec's mother to rescue Magnus' friend Ragnor.  They'll travel to Shanghai and then into hell itself to rescue Ragnor and stop the demon Sammiel from invading the world.

I listened to this on audio and really enjoyed it.  B.D. Wong did a great job of narrating the story.  The only problem is that I'll have to wait another year for the final book in the series.

This is the second book in the Eldest Curses series by Cassandra Clare.  It focuses on Alec and Magnus in the times between the other Shadowhunter series.  It also reveals things such as what really happened to Ragnor Fell.  I really enjoyed this book.  It's an excellent addition to the series.  I can't wait for the final book to come out.

This is a collection of short stories featuring former Silent Brother Zacharieh/Jem as he visits the Shadow Market in search of a missing family.  I really enjoyed these stories.  Brother Zacharieh/Jem is a fascinating character.  It also fills in side stories of several other popular characters from Shadowhunter world.

This is a collection of short stories set in the Shadowhunters world.  The tying theme between all the stories is Brother Zachariah/Jem Carstairs and the Shadow Market. 
I really enjoyed this collection of short stories.  It filled in the history and back stories of several characters and events.

This is the first book in The Dark Artifices, the sequel series to the Mortal Instruments.  I really enjoyed this book.  While the focus on different main characters from the original series, they do appear throughout the story. 

City of Heavenly Fire by Cassandra Clare

Sebastian launches his final attack against the Shadowhunters and their allies.  The final book in the series is a good conclusion to this series.  I would definitely recommend this series to anyone who enjoys fantasy novels.  I'm looking forward to reading the next Shadowhunters series.

This is the fifth of the Mortal Instruments series.  It was a great addition to the series -- advancing both character development and the over-arching plot.  I'm looking forward to reading the final book in the series.

This is the first book in a new series by Cassandra Clare and Wesley Chu focusing on the characters of Alec and Magnus Bane from the Shadowhunter world.  It takes place between books 3 and 4 of the Mortal Instruments.  It was interesting to see their relationship develop and to learn more about Magnus' past.  I'm looking forward to the next book in the series.
