The Grand Finale by Janet Evanovich, 246 pages
Before Janet Evanovich wrote the Stephanie Plum series, she wrote a series of very light romance novels. In the Grand Finale, Berry Knudsen saves a kitten while delivering a pizza and finds herself face to face with a very attractive man named Jake Sawyer. I See Kitty, by Yasmine Surovec, 40 pages
I See Kitty, by Yasmine Surovec, 40 pages
If you squeal at the very thought of a picture of a kitten doing something kitten-ish, then this book is for you. It is a children's book, but it is by the creator of the webcomic "Cat versus Human" (cat-lovers should appreciate it) http://www.catversushuman.com/ so it appeals to all ages, if you like cats or humor or joy. If that hasn't convinced you, I'll just say this: there is a river of milk in which cats that are also mermaids get to frolic in. It's amazing.

I Could Pee On This by Francesco Marciuliano
I Could Pee On This by Francesco Marciuliano, 112 pages
A very quick read but extremely entertaining for cat lovers. This book is full of adorable felines and their cute poems. You'll find yourself nodding your head in agreement quite often as you picture your furry feline writing the poems. There are various types of poetry and all well done, though some are definitely funnier than others. My particular favorites included; "I'm So Mad I Could" (about giving a cat a bath), "I'm Not Paranoid" (about giving a pill to a cat), "I Lick Your Nose" (how a cat wakes you up) and "Closed Door" (about the incessant scratching at a closed door). Granted there were many more but that would take up too much room.
