The Big Kahuna is the sixth book in the Fox/O'Hare series. This time Janet writes with her son Peter Evanovich. This was a quick and entertaining read. When the Big Kahuna turns up missing, Nick and Kate must travel to Hawaii to find out who is behind his disappearance.

Look Alive Twenty Five by Janet Evanovich
In this latest Stephanie Plum book, we find bounty hunter Stephanie Plum still in the latest predicaments. Her boss now has her managing the Red River Deli after three managers turn up missing. Accompanied by her side kick Lula, Stephanie is not only managing the deli, she is trying to solve the mystery of who kidnapped the missing managers on top of her regular bounty hunting duties. I thought this book was better than the last Stephanie Plum book, but still quite repetitive in the story line. Stephanie still has the same old problems with being torn between detective Joe Morelli and hot guy Ranger. A quick and entertaining read.

Hardcore Twenty Four by Janet Evanovich
I listened to this as an audiobook. I was very disappointed in this book. I really think Janet Evanovich is just dragging out this series featuring Stephanie Plum as a bounty hunter who goes through cars like water. It is frustrating after 24 novels, Stephanie cannot commit to a man. She leans towards Joe Morelli, but then is also attracted to Ranger. And, in this latest book, hunky man Diesel is back. While being pulled between three men, Stephanie and Lula are trying to find who is dumping body parts around town. Maybe this book is called Hardcore because it is only for hardcore fans.

Dangerous Minds by Janet Evanovich
Dangerous Minds is the second book in the Knight and Moon series.
Very similar to the Stephanie Plum books Janet Evanovich has written, these books are light romantic mysteries. In this current novel, Emerson Knight and Riley Moon come to the aid of a Buddhist Monk who has mysteriously lost his island in the South Pacific. Along with Emerson's cousin, Vernon, the four friends set out for an adventure around the world involving a mysterious element found only in the National Parks system. This was a very appropriate to go along with the August 21st Eclipse

Wife For Hire by Janet Evanovich
Wife For Hire is one of Janet Evanovich's older romance books written in 1990. When Hank Mallone needs to be married to get a large bank loan in his small home town of Skogen, Vermont, he advertises in a New Jersey paper for a wife for hire. He ends up hiring Maggie Toone who is not at all what he expected. Maggie is a girl who has just left her teaching job to write a book and what better way to write a book than pretending to be married in a small Vermont town while staring at apple orchards. This is cute story with some plot complications that make the story more interesting.

In this latest Stephanie Plum mystery, Stephanie again finds herself in the same dilemmas. After twenty three novels, Stephanie still finds herself trying to chose between comfortable love Joe Morelli or exciting man of mystery Ranger. Though, Stephanie, along with her partner Lula, finds herself caught up in her exciting career as bounty hunter. This time she finds herself in a very cold place, solving the murders of an ice cream factory and find out who is trying to take down the business. I always wonder when will this series end and who will Stephanie end up with.

Back Before Turbo Twenty Three, Janet Evanovich wrote twelve short romance novels. I have read about half of these and found most of them very, very light reading that were feel good funny. Rocky Road to Romance is about a radio station owner named Steve who finds himself falling for Daisy, the dog loving traffic reporter and a dog named Bob (Janet Evanovich's first novel in which Bob appears as the name of a dog). Will two dog lovers find happiness together?
Grand Finale by Janet Evanovich
Before Janet Evanovich wrote the Stephanie Plum series, she wrote a series of very light romance novels. In the Grand Finale, Berry Knudsen saves a kitten while delivering a pizza and finds herself face to face with a very attractive man named Jake Sawyer. Will Berry find time in her busy schedule to make room for romance with Jake?

Tricky Twenty-Two by Janet Evanovich
One of the rituals of spring is a new Stephanie Plum novel, and here is # 22 the perfect entertainment after filing your income taxes for another year.
In Tricky Twenty-Two Stephanie is trying to track down a college student, Ken Globovic, aka Gobbles, who failed to show up in court on charges of beating up Dean of Students Martin Mintner at Kiltman College. Gobbles is "Supreme Exalted Zoo Keeper" of Zeta fraternity so Stephanie and her sidekick, Lula, start their search at Zeta House.
In addition to her job as a bounty hunter, Stephanie also moonlights for her friend Ranger's security agency. This time Ranger wants her help to provide security at the wake of a murder victim. No sooner is the funeral over than the victim's business partner is also murdered.
Stephanie soon learns that the two murder victims were both Zeta members when they attended Kiltman College. When Dean Mintner is found dead on the grounds of Zeta, suspicion focuses on Gobbles.
In her usual spectacular fashion, Stephanie saves the day. If you are looking for a good summer "beach read" that combines lighthearted mystery with pratfall comedy, Evanovich's Stephanie Plum fills the bill.

Tricky Twenty-Two by Janet Evanovich
In the twenty second Stephanie Plum novel by Janet Evanovich, we find Stephanie still working for her cousin Vinnie as a bails bondwoman. Stephanie still is torn between love interests Joe Morelli and Ranger. In her newest adventure, Stephanie is chasing Gobbles and has to find out what is going on at the Zeta Fraternity at Kiltman College. This was an entertaining read, but I felt this series is getting too repetitive.

The fourth book in the Fox and O'Hare series does not disappoint in the quick, fun, entertaining read category. Ex conman Nick Fox and FBI agent Kate O'Hare are paired up again in this current novel to take down a money laundering crook named Evan Trace. Evan Trace is scamming fellow criminals in his casinos. Nick and Kate go undercover along with their cohorts who have appeared in previous novels to take down the criminals. Will the scam work?

Wicked Charms by Janet Evanovich and Phoef Sutton
Lizzy and Diesel and their playful romance are back in the third installment of the Wicked series. Along with Wulf and Hatchet, they set out to find the Stone of Avarice. Involving a treasure map and treasure, the hunt is on. This was a fun read especially this time of year with talk like a pirate day in September and Halloween following in October. One of the more entertaining books in this series.
