The Chase by Janet Evanovich and Lee Goldberg, 303 pages
This is the second in the Fox and O'Hare novels Janet Evanovich has coauthored with Lee Goldberg. Kate O'Hare is a FBI agent working with con artist Nick Fox to retrieve a bronze rooster stolen by Carter Grove. The heist leads them across the country from Palm Beach to Washington D.C. across the ocean to Scotland and Shanghai. Along with some unusual cohorts, Kate and and Nick get the job done. They recover the rooster, but not without some excitement in Kentucky. This was a good book and a quick read. Janet and Lee have created some likeable new characters which make it hard to wait six months for the next book.

Explosive Eighteen by Janet Evanovich
Explosive Eighteen by Janet Evanovich, 305 pages
I read the first three books in the Stephanie Plum series and wanted to read the new one, Notorious Nineteen, so I thought I would jump ahead and read Eighteen. This book was hilarious, and I was happy to find that I could follow the story and characters without reading the fifteen books in between. Stephanie Plum is on some interesting cases in between juggling her love life with Morelli and Ranger and still going through many different vehicles. I can't wait to read Notorious Nineteen.

Explosive Eighteen by Janet Evanovich
Explosive Eighteen by Janet Evanovich--305 pages
Another zany Stephanie Plum adventure. The FBI, the fake FBI and others are after her because they think she has information from a dead man found in a garbage can at the LA airport.
