Lambert the Lion is a retelling of the classic Ugly Duckling that I read dozens of times as a child. Before I could read, I made my poor mother read it to me over and over. It's a beloved touchstone I am grateful hasn't lost its luster.

My thoughts: This book was interesting. Almost, if not all, the Disney princes are just so one dimensional. This book (series) gave them life and character depth. It was an easy read.

This is a Little Golden Book based on the ride. I've been on the ride at Walt Disney World several times and it's one of my favorites. This little book is really good for fans of the ride. 

The Official Disney Parks Cookbook by Pam Brandon

I picked this up after flipping through it and seeing a few recipes that looked interesting.  While I did find a couple I might try overall I wasn't that impressed with this cookbook.  It seemed as if at least two thirds of the recipes were drinks instead of food.  Maybe I would have liked it better if I'd visited more Disney parks before.  I would only suggest this for major Disney fans.

A Tale of Two Brothers was a fun read that stirred up plenty of nostalgia. I wish I would have known as a child that there was a series of Lion King books because I would've been all over them!

Although I'm a big fan of the Star Wars movies this is the first Star Wars book I've read.  It basically tells Jyn's story leading up to the movie "Rogue One."  I thought it was a pretty good YA novel.

One of the most helpful books on planning a Disney World vacation, Birnbaum's contains the most updated information on Disney World.  I like how the book includes all the parks, rides, restaurants, and attractions.  It contains what is currently open, what will open and what may shutdown. An absolute must have book for any trip to Disney World!

This book is basically a guide to live your life the Disney way.  What could be wrong with that?  With excerpts from Disney Little Golden Books, this book puts together a very magical way to live life.  From Frozen to Cinderella from Monsters Inc. to Toy Story, she incorporates almost every Disney story you could think of.  Diane Muldrow has written other Everything I Need to Know Books geared to adults and I find them to be quite inspirational.  I also think the books make great gifts (this one especially for a fan of Fantasyland at Disney World).

Who Was Walt Disney? is a very good book for children as well as adults if they are a fan of anything Disney.  This was a very interesting read about Walt's life. It includes the history of Disney films, Disneyland, Disney World and Epcot, as well as Walt's personal life.  I especially liked the timeline in the back of the book.

This is the children's book to accompany Disney's latest addition it its princess movies.  It chronicles the story of Elsa and Anna, two sisters in the kingdom of Arendelle.  Elsa has a magical power to create snow and ice, but upon her coronation as queen something goes wrong and she flees.  It is up to Anna to find her sister and save the kingdom from becoming frozen.  It also adds a new twist to the fairy tale classic of one true kiss.

Cute, yet simplistic story.  I do think young girls would enjoy it and I may rent the movie when it becomes available.

This was a cute tale about friendship and what it means to be a friend.
