Rogue One: A Star Wars Story Graphic Novel Adaptation by Jody Houser, et al.-176 pages
"Rogue One" is possibly my favorite of the new Disney Star Wars Canon films (it's right there with "The Force Awakens"). This graphic novel adaptation follows the movie plot closely, but a couple extra scenes are added in. A short story about how Cassian Andor and K-2SO meet follows the main story. I enjoyed reading this adaptation just as I enjoyed the movie.

Rebel Rising by Beth Revis
Rebel Rising by Beth Revis
(Star Wars Disney Canon Novel)
416 pages / 9 hrs, 53 mins
"When Jyn Erso was five years old, her mother was murdered and her father taken from her to serve the Empire. But despite the loss of her parents she is not completely alone--Saw Gerrera, a man willing to go to any extremes necessary in order to resist Imperial tyranny, takes her in as his own, and gives her not only a home but all the abilities and resources she needs to become a rebel herself.
"Jyn dedicates herself to the cause--and the man. But fighting alongside Saw and his people brings with it danger and the question of just how far Jyn is willing to go as one of Saw's soldiers. When she faces an unthinkable betrayal that shatters her world, Jyn will have to pull the pieces of herself back together and figure out what she truly believes in...and who she can really trust." --from the publisher
Although I'm a big fan of the Star Wars movies this is the first Star Wars book I've read. It basically tells Jyn's story leading up to the movie "Rogue One." I thought it was a pretty good YA novel.

Star Wars, Catalyst: A Rogue One Novel by James Luceno
Star Wars, Catalyst: A Rogue One Novel by James Luceno-336 pages
This obviously isn't romance, but I wanted to read this anyway. I watched Rogue One in theaters last December and wanted to read this story since it is the background story to Rogue One. It is not an action-filled story, but it is a worthwhile one, nonetheless. It gives more weight to the characters from the movie and it sheds more light/helps one make more sense of the events of Rogue One. Overall, I enjoyed reading this novel, although there were a few typos and grammar errors.
