Willie sends his thanks and thoughts in a book of letters written to everyone from America, friends, family, others, and himself. From a small town in Texas to international acclaim as singer, songwriter, actor, activist, gambler, and joker, this book covers it all. Willie's book is written to lift us up in difficult times and to make us laugh. I was never a huge fan of Willie growing up, but I am a country music fan so I thought I would go out of my comfort zone with this one. I was glad I did. It was an enjoyable light read. He is quite the character and I found the book entertaining.
