Fun and dramatic (both actual drama and teenage drama) finale to a fun and dramatic series. I'm not sure I liked the way the mom storyline was handled at first, but once the twist was revealed, I got behind it a bit more. I love Klune and he stays on my automatic-buy list.

I am so glad to see Super Hero books being written for a new generation. And, who can resist a Little Golden Book.  These books can be read over and over by both children and adults,  In Flower Power, Wonder Women and Batgirl have to save the Botanical Gardens from the Wrath of Poison Ivy.  This is a great introduction for children to the super friends.

Batgiril of Burnside by Cameron Stewart

It is quite confusing to me how there can be so many versions of the Batgirl comic.  I am not sure how many versions there are, but I have read the original Batgirl (Barbara Gordon as a Librarian), the new Batgirl (the new 52) where she has recovered from being paralyzed , and there is this one, Batgirl of Burnside.  In this newer version, Barbara Gordon finds herself going off to college in Burnside with new roommates and new friends.  When all of Barbara's belongings are destroyed in a fire, she has to come up with a new look.  She also finds herself battling new enemies in her new look.  I have yet to decide which Batgirl I like best, but I would have to say the original one who was a librarian will always be my favorite.

I listened to this as an audio because I could not find it in book format.  But, I am going to try and find it as a book because supposedly there are some really good pictures in the book.

Olivia Munn has most recently been in the news for breaking up with Green Bay Packer Quarterback Aaron Rodgers after dating for 3 years.  Before that she was known for being a model and actress, appearing mostly in comedies.

Born in Oklahoma City, her father was in the military where she grew up in Japan.  Her mother was of Chinese descent but was a Vietnam refuge.

Suck it, Wonder Woman! follows Olivia as she grows up and struggles to fit in as a geeky kid who moved around a lot.  As a teen, her grandmother lived with the family and died suddenly.  Olivia blamed herself for not giving her grandmother CPR.  The book continues to follow her as she grows up and finds herself moving to Los Angeles to become a model and actress.  She was hired as a host on Cable G4's Attack of the Show.  On the show, she finds herself dressing in various costumes.  Her favorite costumes are superhero ones, but she does say one has to have a certain figure to wear these costumes.  I enjoyed listening to this audio read by the author.  It was both funny and entertaining.
