Fruits Basket Another, v.1-4 by Natsuki Takaya
Fruits Basket Another, v.2 by Natsuki Takaya - 194 pages
Fruits Basket Another, v.3 by Natsuki Takaya - 192 pages
Fruits Basket Another, v.4 by Natuski Takaya - 194 pages
This series tells the story of the next generation of Sohmas through the eyes of Matomi, a girl from school. She meets the various Sohma children and starts a relationship with Shiki.
I was excited to see that a fourth volume was released. The original three was supposed to be a complete trilogy. I think this volume definitely left things open to continue the story on if the author decides to later. It also included some bonus mangas that were included with the new anime releases.

Fruits Basket Another, Vol. 3 by Natsuki Takaya
Fruits Basket Another, Vol. 3 by Natsuki Takaya-178 pages
Sawa Mitoma is spending summer break with the Sohmas at their vacation home/cottage. She is becoming friends with the Sohmas, especially Shiki. She and Shiki go to the aquarium together one day on summer break. Sawa is very happy and enjoys her time at the cottage. However, summer break ends and they all return to school. It was revealed in the second book that Sawa's mother is gone for long periods and is verbally abusive to Sawa. In this story, it is revealed that Sawa's mother hurled insults at her friends when she was a young girl and that's why her friends said mean things and left her. Sawa wonders if her mother has done that to the Sohmas (or anyone else). Also, it is revealed that Sawa fell down some stairs while alone and was bleeding from the fall. Shiki is the one who found her crying both before and after she had fallen. Sawa had left home to be alone after her mother left home after promising they would go out together. Her mother sued Shiki's father and the Sohma family. Shiki had thought of her ever since. The story ends with the School Festival. Shiki comes to the festival to hang out with Sawa and his family.

She sees him resting by himself and offers to walk him home and that's when she figures out that he is a Sohma. Sawa is looking for a part-time job and the Sohmas offer her a temporary one at Mutsuki Sohma's Aunt and Uncle's shop. They are away on vacation, so someone needs to look after the new second shop. Sawa meets Chizuru on her first day, but Chizuru's sister went to Paris on a whim and is gone. Sawa is invited to the Sohmas' vacation home for summer break.

Fruits Basket Another, Vol. 1 by Natsuki Takaya
Fruits Basket Another, Vol. 1 by Natsuki Takaya-192 pages
Sawa Mitoma is starting at a new high school. She doesn't have very high self-confidence and tries not to be notices or cause any trouble. She is always looking down. However, when she is late for school on the first day, a handsome new classmate named Mutsuki, sticks up for her and over time he and his friends/family raise Sawa's self-confidence. Sawa learns that Mutsuki and his friends/family are Sohmas and Mutsuki and Hajime are Vice President and President on the student council. They invite her to be the first-year representative on the student council. Also, they invite her over for dinner after school on the 29th, which is meat day (because the Japanese word for meat and the word for 29 are similar). Over time, Sawa Mitoma gains confidence and feels like she is starting to fit in with the Sohmas.

Fruits Basket Another, v. 1-3 by Natsuki Takaya
Fruits Basket Another v. 2 by Natsuki Takaya - 192 pages
Fruits Basket Another v. 3 by Natsuki Takaya - 192 pages
Sawa is a girl who never looks up. She's been hurt by friends in the past and prefers to be by herself to avoid future pain. Then she meets Mutsuki of the Sohma family. Soon, she's become the friend of many of the Sohma family's teens. Will she be able to break her habit of hiding herself from the world.
This is a three volume companion series to the popular manga Fruits Basket. It features teen Sawa as she interacts with the children of the original Fruits Basket characters. I really enjoyed the first two volumes and most of the third. I just think the story ended abruptly without a real conclusion. I wish they was more to the series to tie up the many loose ends.

Fruits Basket Another, Volume 2 by Natsuki Takaya
Fan-favorite Fruits Basket is back with more Sohma-filled adventures! Except this time, it's set in the same world, years later. Find out more in this new volume!
School's no longer an endless pit of anxiety and solitary lunches for Sawa thanks to the Sohmas. She's joined the student council and made new friends who don't abandon her no matter how painfully awkward or useless she is-they don't even get angry when she screws up or starts blabbering gibberish! Though social interactions are still daunting, people don't seem to be as scary anymore-at least, until another Sohma appears?!

Fruits Basket Another, v. 1 by Natsuki Takaya
Sawa Mitoma keeps her head down and doesn't interact with anyone . . . until her first day of high school when she meets Mutsuki and Hajime of the Sohma family. Now they're doing their best to open her up and include her in their crazy family activities.
This is a sequel series to the popular Fruits Basket manga. I was very excited when I heard about these as Fruits Basket was the first manga I read and I loved it. I enjoyed this book -- especially figuring out how the new Sohma characters are related to the original Fruits Basket characters. I'm looking forward to the next volume.

Liselotte & Witch's Forest by Natsuki Takaya
This volume introduces Captain Erwin, whose job is to watch Liselotte from a distance for her brother the king. It gives a little more backstory to Liselotte and the other characters which only makes you want to know more. I'm really enjoying this series and anticipate the next volume in a few months.

Liselotte & Witch's Forest, v. 3 by Natsuki Takaya
This volume picks up immediately after volume 2. Engetsu is injured and Liselotte calls out to the trees to heal him. But what will the price be for the healing?
In a way, this volume almost resets the story. We learn a little more about all the characters but all the relationships change. I look forward to the next volume.

Liselotte & Witch's Forest, v. 2 by Natsuki Takay
Liselotte has determined to learn how to live. This means learning how to garden and going to meet the witches in the forest.
This is the second volume of the series. In my opinion it was much better than the first book as that was pretty much all set-up. This volume gave more information about Liselotte's and En's past. I'm looking forward to the next volume which comes out in January.

This is the first book in Natsuki Takaya's new series. You can tell that the first book is mainly world building and that there is still some to do in future volumes.

Fruits Basket series by NatsukiTakaya
Tohru is taken in by the Sohma family when she has nowhere to live. She quickly discovers the family secret -- certain members of the Sohma family are cursed to transform into the animals of the Chinese zodiac when they are hugged by the opposite sex.
This is the first manga series I ever read. I absolutely loved it. It is a great introduction to manga. It contains elements of comedy, romance, drama, and the supernatural. I would recommend to anyone interested in manga.
