Enchanted Glass by Diana Wynne Jones

Enchanted Glass by Diana Wynne Jones - 292 pages

After his grandfather dies, Andrew Hope inherits a house and surrounding land in an English village, but things become very complicated when young orphan Aidan shows up and suddenly a host of variously magical townsfolk and interlopers start intruding on their lives.

I always enjoy Diana Wynne Jones' books.  She is one of my favorite fantasy authors for kids.  This book definitely did not disappoint.  I really like it.

Liselotte & Witch's Forest, v. 5 by Natsuki Takaya

Liselotte & Witch's Forest, v. 5 by Natsuki Takaya - 192 pages

Anna travels into the forest to make peace with Vergue.  Then Engetsu takes Liselotte to the village for the fair.

This is the fifth book in the series.  I am enjoying each book more and more.  We finally meeting Liselotte's brother in the volume and I look forward to finding out more of his intentions during the next book.
