Red Queen by Victoria Aveyard

Pages : 416

I recall reading this when it was initially popular and I was obsessed, I still am.

In this world everyone is separated into classes. Reds are commoners and Silvers are the Elite. Based of blood color and power. Mare Barrow her entire life assumed she was a Red based off her blood and status. Everything changes for her when it was discovered that she is in fact a Silver, even though her blood is not.

Forced to be married to a son of the Silver Palace, under a hidden identity Mare must learn who she can trust, who she loves, and if the resistance is something she should be in.

This book reminded me a lot of Cinder in that it was a girl, a prince, and a rebellion.

It was addictive to read, and I knew something sketchy was up with one of the princes. I wanted Mare to ger her Prince after all.

If you like a typical Teen book this is a solid go-to.
