Murder She Wrote - A Killer Christmas by Jessica Fletcher & Terrie Farley Moran - 259 pages.
Not is all so merry and bright in Cabot Cove this Christmas. Eve Simpson, Cabot Cove's leading realtor has found a buyer (Boston tycoon John Bragdon) for the old Jarvis homestead. Unfortunately, Kenny Jarvis appears, after being missing and presumed dead for years, to stop his sister from selling their childhood home.
Eve organizes a welcome dinner for Mr. & Mrs. Bragdon to meet the town's leading citizens, including Jessica Fletcher; but Kenny has a not-so-welcoming message for Mrs. Bragdon. He has threatened that she will never live in his house. Within hours, Mrs. Bragdon is found dead and Kenny is the prime suspect. Did Kenny really kill her? Jessica has her hands full once again helping the town's sheriff solve this murder all while she is on a committee to help the town organize a grand Christmas festival to win a major contest for the state of Maine.
I enjoyed the book. I am a long time Murder She Wrote fan, so I love that these books are still being written with the same characters that I remember from the television series. It is a light, easy, and cozy mystery. Enjoy
