Dru is lost and unsure what do after having to kill her father when he is turned into a zombie. She ends up being taken care of by a boy from her school who lives in the mall -- until they are attacked by werwulfs. Now she has to take care of him and try to figure out who killed her dad and is trying to kill her.
I picked up this book after reading the author's Nameless. This book was much easier to read, but I liked Nameless better. Nameless had a lot more layers to it than Strange Angels does. Strange Angels also has a lot of unanswered questions that hopefully will be answered in the other books in the series.
