Dark-Hunter Novels #16
The latest in the long running Dark Hunter series adds a Native American twist to the standard narrative of guy loses soul in servitude to a higher power then guy meets girl who may be able to redeem him through love. It sounds sappy but the Dark Hunter novels are anything but sappy. The humor is dark and the snark level is high. It's possible to enter the series at any book because the basic plot is a standalone but it is part of a larger story arc and the relationships make a lot more sense when you start the series from the beginning. This wasn't my favorite entry but it was good and kept the spirit of what I liked from the previous books.
