Sonya Sones writes in poem form what happened when her older sister had a mental breakdown on Christmas. This is a teen fiction book that was assigned to my teenage son as a reading assignment. I picked up the book and the cover and title looked interesting, so I read it and could not put it down. The author writes the book as an adult going through journals she had as a teenager. She writes in very simple poems what happened to her and her family when her sister went crazy. Teenagers might relate to the way the author was treated by her friends when they found out about her sister. The poems were very effective in communicating her feelings!!
