Laci, Inside the Laci Peterson Murder by Michael Fleeman, 246 pages
This was a fascinating book detailing the Laci Peterson case. This book was well written with a lot of detailed facts that I had not known before. The book focuses on her disappearance from the very beginning and gives a lot of insight into her husband, Scott's motive, alibi, affairs, and the fact he took out a $250,000 life insurance policy on Laci before she disappeared. The author gives details into Laci's family life and her growing up in Modesto. The book was heartfelt and stirs emotions. How could Scott kill his young wife and unborn son? This will always be a shocking and gruesome story.
