Metro Girl by Janet Evanovich, 296 pages
Yet, another series by Janet Evanovich. I really liked this first book in this series of two books and two graphic novels. This was a funny, romantic read with a fun loving character named Alexandra Barnaby who jets off to Miami to find her brother, Bill, who has gone missing. This book proves to be an interesting adventure that leads Alex, aka "Barney," on an adventure to Key West with NASCAR driver, Sam Hooker. After it is discovered Bill and his girlfriend, Maria, took Sam's boat to look for sunken gold that once belonged to Cuba, Sam and Barney head out to sea on a another boat. If you like the Stephanie Plum series, you might like this series. It has got some of the same kind of romantic humor but with only one guy.
