Fancy Nancy: the Dazzling Book Report by Jane O'Connor, 32 pages
I had to read one Fancy Nancy book to see what all the hype was about. Of course, I had to read one involving a book and a library. I could see why little girls would love to read Fancy Nancy. I loved the illustrations in this book, and the fact that Nancy likes everything fancy. Nancy's assignment is to write a book report based on a biography. Nancy chooses Sacajawea. Nancy works really hard on a dazzling cover for her report but only makes it two sentences long. Nancy is relieved when her teacher lets her tell the class what her book is about.
