Jack of Fables 8: The Fulminate Blade, by Bill Willingham

Jack of Fables 8: The Fulminate Blade, by Bill Willingham, 128 pages

So Jack Horner is still hanging out in a cave with his gold, permanently transformed into a dragon.  But I never liked him, anyway, so that’s no loss.  Jack Frost, abandoned son of Jack Horner, is a full-fledged hero by this volume, and he and MacDuff are out to battle evil.  In this issue, Jack runs into a witch of the forest, an evil king, and he captures the fulminate blade.  Of course, you can never tell who is good and who is bad, and Jack is in for a terrible surprise.  I’m really not into this series, but I know the end is in sight, so I am compelled to see it all the way through to the end.
