The second book in the Morris and Chastain investigation series continues the supernatural thriller series started in Black Magic Woman. Morris and Chastain are each in pursuit of a vicious killer. One is killing white witches and the other is killing children and harvesting body parts. A trail running from the Middle East to the middle of America leads the investigation into taking on a true heart of evil. The action in this series is strong and keeps the reader involved. Some of the characters make choices in the name of the greater good that can be a bit off putting. Overall, it is an enjoyable quick read.
