Red Cross Nina Borg is lured into a web of mystery and deceit when she answers an urgent call to meet with a long lost friend who needs her to pick up something from a locker at the train station which turns out to be the titular boy in the suitcase. Nina's personal issues plus interference by nefarious criminal forces combine to keep the tension alive and she tries to keep the boy safe and determine where he belongs. Several storylines weave together to create an effective drama that will keep you turning the pages to find out the story behind the boy in the suitcase.
