I read this after reading another review of it on this blog.  I'm a huge Doctor Who fan and also enjoy fairy tales.  So this book was a lot of fun.  It is a collection of fairy tale retellings with Time Lord twists as well as original fairy tales.  I would definitely recommend this to Doctor Who fans.

Topher, Sam, Mo, and Joey have planned an epic road trip for their summer after high school.  The four have been the best of friends after bonding over their love for the popular Wiz Kids tv show.  So they are shocked when Cash Carter, the star of Wiz Kids, actually shows up after being invited to join their trip. 

I enjoyed this book.  It was fun.  I could see the twist coming from nearly the beginning, but it was still fun to read to see when the truth would be revealed.  This is a fun book for teens to read.

Jim Henson: a Biography, by Brian Jay Jones

This is a pretty thorough biography of Jim Henson, Muppet creator and all-around awesome artist.  I recommend it to anyone who would like to know more about the man, but I will say that I had the following issues with it:  1. There needed to be way more illustrations- you can't just describe a work of art- show it! 2. This book is solid hero-worship; Jim was obviously a lady's man who cheated on his wife, but anything even slightly unflattering is really just glossed over.  Alot of interesting information here, though.
