The Unfortunate Miss Fortunes by Jennifer Crusie, Eileen Dreyer and Anne Stuart - 410 pages
Sisters Dee, Lizzie, and Mare have been hiding from their Aunt Xan ever since the night she killed their parents for their powers. Now Xan has come up with a diabolical plan -- she'll send them their true loves so that they'll want to give up their magic for love.
This was a fun read. The idea of "true love" being your downfall was an interesting idea. I also enjoyed all the movie references included in the book.

Spellbound by Cara Lynn Shultz
Spellbound by Cara Lynn Shultz, 344 pages
Emma has lived a very hard life. Her father left her at a young age. Her twin brother died a tragic death shortly after... And her mother died leaving Emma with a very abusive stepfather. After being injured in a drunk driving accident, Emma goes to live with her Aunt (her mom's sister). Her Aunt Christine is very well off and immediately enrolls Emma in an exclusive and expensive private school. There Emma meets her best friend who is gay, her other best friend who is a witch and her soulmate. But after losing all the ones she has loved, can she really expect things to get better? Spellbound will keep you spellbound through the pages as Emma faces a thousand year old curse head-on that could mean the end of everything she loves and holds dear. Toss in typical teenage drama of the stuck-up, jealous and mean popular girl, the overly touchy and menacing jock and the usual trumped up rumors that flood the halls of high school .. and you have Spellbound in a nutshell.
