This book fulfilled two goals for me. I was able to read a "library" book for the JCL Reads monthly challenge and I also read a book in one of the most popular JCHAP series. For a easy chapter book, the book was pretty good. It didn't have much of a story line, but you won't in a short book like that. The language was simple which works well for emergent readers.
