Forever, by Maggie Stiefvater, 388 pages
In the third and final book of the Wolves of Mercy Falls series, Grace is a wolf, Sam is a boy, Isabel is still a huge jerk, and Cole turns out to be the only interesting character. Everything is about to come to a head, though, because Isabel's dad has a permit to kill all of the wolves of Mercy Falls. Will Sam and Grace's love be able to outrun the helicopter full of wolf snipers? (That's snipers aiming at wolves, not wolves trained as snipers- just in case you wondered).

Linger, by Maggie Stiefvater
Linger, by Maggie Stiefvater, 360 pages
Spoiler alert if you haven't read Shiver: Sam becomes a real, full-time boy. That's great, right? Well, it should be- except in this sequel, Grace is getting weird headaches, there's a dead wolf in the woods, and Sam may not have been right about why werewolves shift and how much time they have to live. Still a sweet read, but this trilogy needs to wrap it up.
