At Home Sarah Style is a very colorful book with many beautiful pictures on decorating urban spaces to country cottages.  Her style ranges from casual elegance to her designs inspired by nature.  I especially enjoyed looking at the pictures in this book.  A big bonus to this book is the recipes included in the back.

Home by Ellen DeGeneres

Home by Ellen DeGeneres, 304 pages

Home contains some beautiful pictures of Ellen's current homes as well as some of her past homes.  Accompanying the photography is descriptions as well as background of the homes she has lived in over the past 20 years, through her very successful career in television.  Although, I was a little confused how she had pictures of her previous homes. She must have been planning this book for a while to have photographs of her previous homes decorated. She also has included some of her favorite friends and designers homes as well.   I guess Ellen has always had a secret passion for decorating.

Country Living Storage Style, Pretty and Practical Ways to Organize Your Home by Lesley Porcelli

Country Living Storage Style, Pretty and Practical Ways to Organize Your Home by Lesley Porcelli, 160 pages

This was a fun little read!  It had great pictures of different storage solutions, mostly with a country theme.  I love this type of furniture.  It gave great descriptions to go with the pictures.  I especially enjoyed the way different collections were displayed. The author showed some interesting ways to store books.  She had them stacked on a painted bench.  I especially liked the way she painted the furniture to give it a fresh new look.  I must say I really enjoyed looking at this book!!

CelebraTORI by Tori Spelling

CelebraTORI by Tori Spelling, 275 pages

This was a fun book to read!  Who entertains better than Tori Spelling?  Star of her own reality show and Beverly Hills 90210 and author of a few nonfiction books, Tori now writes about what she does best, throwing parties.  This book is full of colorful pictures of some of the wonderful parties she has thrown.  In this book, she does give many simple tips for throwing a successful party.  For instance, should there be no kids or kids?  Tori is also big on decorating with garage sale finds.  I love her take on how things do not have to match.  She also includes a color palette on what colors to pair together.  There are also many recipes including one for cake cones.  It was fun to read this book and for one night believe I can throw a party like Tori can!!
