It's been a month since Alex Rider was broken by the death of his caretaker Jack.  Then he receives an email that indicates she's still alive.  Now Alex is traveling to Egypt, France and England following the clues.  While trying to find her, he stumbles upon a plot against England and he's drawn into saving the world yet again.

This is the 11th book in the teen spy Alex Rider book series and a great entry in the series.  A definite must read for those who have enjoyed the earlier books.

Nanami and the others head to the Land of the Dead to rescue the kidnapped soul of Okuninushi and to stop Kirohito from getting Akuro-oh's body.
Nanami's big secret is revealed in this volume and it is interesting to see the different reactions.  I've also caught up on all the published volumes and now must wait for the next book to come out.

Bryn Davis learned in the last book that dying wasn't the end of her troubles after she was brought back from the dead by an evil pharmaceutical company.  The company, Pharmadene, may be no more but Bryn is now shackled to the government as it tries to contain the havoc wreaked by the drug Returne which brings back the dead but with a terrible price.  Bryn's life is further complicated by romance and missing persons from her undead support group.  This is urban fantasy with interesting characters and an intelligent plot.  I've enjoyed all of Caine's books that I've read.
