Filled with romance, danger, adventure, mystery, murder and suspense, this is a "must finish in one sitting" kind of book. I thoroughly enjoyed it. This book is newly published 5/13.

Guilty Wives by James Patterson and David Ellis

This is another James Patterson novel written in collaboration with another writer.  I only started reading James Patterson in the past year and have only read novels he has written in collaboration.  I like his books because they are fast paced and suspenseful and are a substitute for Dan Brown novels, as Dan Brown  has not written anything recently.  This book follows Abbie Elliot and her three closest friends on a girls only weekend to Monte Carlo.  A wild night of partying with some men of questionable character lands them in jail accused of murdering the French President.  The ladies are sent to prison where everyday is a fight for survival.  It is a page turner waiting to find out who set the ladies up.  Only when Abby escapes from prison, can her innocence be proven.  The most surprising take from the book was that David Ellis was the prosecutor in the trial and conviction of former Illinois Governor, Rod Blagojevich.

The third and final book of the trilogy. Have a box of kleenex handy because this book will make you cry. Matty was introduced in the second book, "Gathering Blue". In "Messenger", Matty is enjoying his new life in Village delivering messages to the surrounding towns. He is the only one in the community that is able to go into Forest. Forest gives warnings to those who dare to enter without "permission" such as a sharp prick with a twig, etc. Matty must traverse the dangers of Forest one last time when he is sent to bring back Kira.
