Assassination Classroom, v. 5 by Yusei Matsui

Assassination Classroom, v. 5 by Yusei Matsui

In this volume, we conclude the baseball game with the varsity team and meet a new P.E. teacher.
I am continuing to love this series.  It is consistently funny while actually inserting some philosophical questions for deep thinking.

And I continue to love the Moment of Zen at the end of each book --
"He stole something quite precious to you.  Your tentacles."

Assassination Classroom, v.2 by Yusei Matsui

Assassination Classroom, v. 2 by Yusei Matsui - 200 pages

Class 3-E, the assassination classroom, has a new foriegn language teacher who turns out to be a professional assassin.  Then it's time for midterms and Koro Sensei is determined that his students will all be in the top 50.  Right after midterms is the class trip to Kyoto.

I enjoyed this volume as much as the first one.  I'm looking forward to the rest of the series.

Bleach, v.63: Hear, Fear, Here by Tite Kubo

Bleach, v.63: Hear, Fear, Here by Tite Kubo - 187 pages

Renji and Rukia enter the fight against the Quincies attacking the Soul Society.  Uryu learns the secret of the Quincy King.

This book revealed a major secret held by the Quincies.  It is why they are confident that there is absolutely no way they can be beat.  And I agree from the set-up that it seems that way.

Workin' It: RuPaul's Guide to Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Style, by RuPaul

Workin' It: RuPaul's Guide to Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Style, by RuPaul, 192 pages

Have I mentioned that I love RuPaul?  I thought that Season 4 of RuPaul's Drag Race would be ending and I would need a Ru-fix.  This book was light and fun, and quick to read.  It's a combination of style advice, confidence boosting, and tons of photos of Ru.  Many of the outfits were featured on Season 2 of Drag Race, but some were new to me, like his Rubama portrait, where he is both Barack and Michelle... and looks strikingly similar.  While I found the parts about how drag queens put on their wigs and makeup to be interesting, I also found the parts about being true to yourself heartfelt.

Drag Race fans will know that I was wrong, and we still have another dose of Ru coming our way.  Sharon Needles for the win!
