Starry Eyes by Jenn Bennett

Starry Eyes by Jenn Bennett - 421 pages
Ever since last year’s homecoming dance, best friends-turned-best enemies Zorie and Lennon have made an art of avoiding each other. It doesn’t hurt that their families are the modern-day Californian version of the Montagues and Capulets.
But when a group camping trip goes south, Zorie and Lennon find themselves stranded in the wilderness. Alone. Together.
What could go wrong?
With no one but each other for company, Zorie and Lennon have no choice but to hash out their issues via witty jabs and insults as they try to make their way to safety. But fighting each other while also fighting off the forces of nature makes getting out of the woods in one piece less and less likely.
And as the two travel deeper into Northern California’s rugged backcountry, secrets and hidden feelings surface. But can Zorie and Lennon’s rekindled connection survive out in the real world? Or was it just a result of the fresh forest air and the magic of the twinkling stars?

The Complete Book of Boondock RVing: Camping Off the Beaten Path
The Complete Book of
Boondock RVing: Camping Off the Beaten Path by Bill and Jan Moeller
170 pages published in 2008
If your idea of
comfortable travel requires having room service, this book is not for
you.
The book talks about
how to pick the right recreational vehicle for your needs.
Will a motor home that
includes the vehicle and living space in one, or some form of truck
powerful enough to pull the living space a better answer?
What size will work for
you?
What amenities do you
need and how do you maintain them?
I was surprised that a
full 88 pages of the book deals with providing electrical power to
run the electrical appliances we have come to enjoy.
We are fortunate to
have a wonderful range of scenery in our country and RVing is a good
way to sample that scenery.
This book makes me want
to get out and go. I suspect it will do the same thing for you.
