I was really looking forward to reading this series as I loved Jun Mochizuki's previous series "Pandora Hearts".  I was disappointed.  I could not get into the story at all.  The characters were off-putting to me.  I will not be reading any further volumes.

Natsume's Book of Friends by Yuki Midorikawa

Natsume's Book of Friends by Yuki Midorikawa - 208 pages

Natsume sees yokai (Japanese spirits).  Turns out his grandmother trapped many yokai in her Book of Friends and they all want to be released.  So Natsume is slowly going through the book and releasing the yokai.

I did not like this manga.  Each story seemed like it was basically the same. There was no character growth or depth at all.  I'll definitely be skipping the rest of this series.

A girl finds a strange book on the bus and suddenly she is inside the book.  The Librarian rushes to her assistance to help her escape but they must be extremely careful.  The letters are poison and cause you to be stuck in the book forever.
I thought this book was absolutely horrible.  I believe it is supposed to be an easy reader but I don't know who for.  The writing is bad.  The sentences are choppy.  The story development is not there.  I would definitely never recommend this book.
