The Librarian From the Black Lagoon by Mike Thaler
The students have been told about the Librarian, Mrs. Beamster, and the horrible things she does to children in the school library like gluing them to chairs, shocking them with electrified shelves and laminating them when they talk. Will she be the "Laminator" from the stories they've heard? Or was someone just pulling their leg? You'll have to read the story to find out.
I enjoyed the illustrations by Jared Lee. They really added to the silliness of the story.
