Manhunting by Jennifer Crusie

Manhunting by Jennifer Crusie - 336 pages

Kate has a plan to find herself a true partner that she can live with, work with, and love.  She's spending two weeks at a resort in Kentucky -- plenty of time to find that perfect someone.  The only problem is that she only seems to be finding Jake . . . the groundskeeper who seems to have no ambition.

This is another one of Jennifer Crusie's early romances.  Again, it is definitely dated in its writing and characters.  However, it was fun to read as the characters were generally really likable.

Anyone But You by Jennifer Crusie

Anyone But You by Jennifer Crusie - 192 pages

This is another one of Jennifer Crusie's early romances.  You can definitely tell it was published in the 1990s.  The main obstacle to the romance was an age difference which today wouldn't even be thought of as an issue.  The technology was also very dated.  Still, it was a quick and fun romance to read.
