Takane & Hana, v. 1 by Yuki Shiwasu - 200 pages

After her older sister refuses to go to an arranged marriage meeting with the heir to a vast business fortune, Hana takes her place to save her father's job.  The meeting between Hana and Takane does not go well.  They immediately get on each other's nerves.  Yet, Takane keeps arranging more meetings with Hana and spending time with her.

I picked this up as it was on a best manga of 2018 list.  I wanted to check out to see if it was appropriate for our teen manga section as Hana is in high school while Takane is in his late 20s.  I found it to be a fairly funny story that was pretty tame.  They do talk about the age different quite a bit and even make a throw away comment about the legality of it since it's an arranged marriage. 

Anyone But You by Jennifer Crusie

Anyone But You by Jennifer Crusie - 192 pages

This is another one of Jennifer Crusie's early romances.  You can definitely tell it was published in the 1990s.  The main obstacle to the romance was an age difference which today wouldn't even be thought of as an issue.  The technology was also very dated.  Still, it was a quick and fun romance to read.

Bunny Drop, v.9 by Yumi Unita

Bunny Drop, v.9 by Yumi Unita - 214 pages

This volume continues the story line of Rin's love for Daikichi.  Daikichi finds out about her feelings and tells her to wait for her to grow up.
I am still disturbed by how this manga is ending.  This volume feels like it is the end - however there is one more volume.  I'm going to read the final volume hoping that the relationship ends quickly.
