Storm (Stone Braide Chronicles #3) by Bonnie S. Calhoun-386 pages
Selah has come so far and now must race against time to find the Third Protocol before the Novarium cycle ends and has to be restarted. She travels west in hopes to complete the cycle and change all Landers everywhere. This book and series is similar to other teen and adult dystopian series and novels. It has been enjoyable to read this series from beginning to end (it is always gratifying to finish a series). Overall, this book and series is decent and I would recommend it to those interested in dystopian fiction, although it is not as good as the Divergent or Hunger Games series (or other books and series).

Lightning (Stone Braide Chronicles #2) by Bonnie S. Calhoun
Lightning (Stone Braide Chronicles #2) by Bonnie S. Calhoun-411 pages
I started reading this for last month's one word title challenge but did not finish it in time. I read the first book in this trilogy a few months ago and bought the next two when they came out. I enjoyed this book, just like the first, though it is not as good as the Divergent series or the Hunger Games series. The depth of character and story isn't quite as good in my opinion, but it is still enjoyable, overall (especially the second half of this book). I will read the last in between short story and the last novel in the trilogy at some point, but next it's on to historical fiction.
