The Dolls (Bookshots) by James Patterson and Kecia Bell, 132 pages

I love these Bookshots by James Patterson.  They are quick reads.  They only take about an hour to read.  This was a pretty interesting one to read.  This one was about dolls; dolls who are the perfect lovers.  But when owners of these dolls are turning up murdered, could it be the dolls doing the killings?

Detective Cross by James Patterson

Detective Cross by James Patterson, 131 pages

I am not a big Alex Cross fan.  I believe I have only read one of his previous books, but this was surprisingly good.  Alex Cross is no longer working for the police department as a detective.  But, when his wife's Bree Stone receives anonymous calls claiming to be placing bombs in random places all over DC, Alex steps in to see if he can find the bomber before it is too late.

French Twist by James Patterson with Richard Dilallo

French Twist by James Patterson with Richard Dilallo, 143 pages

French Twist is another one of James Patterson's lightening fast readS in what is called Bookshots.  I must admit I do like these books as they are small and affordable and also very quick reads.  You can purchase these books for the price of a magazine.  In French Twist, detective Luc Moncrief and his partner Katherine Burke must find out who is killing beautiful women in the upscale department stores across New York City.
