Marauder by Clive Cussler

                                                           Marauder by Clive Cussler-370 pages

It is up to Juan Cabrillo and the crew of his ship, the Oregon, to stop a terrorist plot to release a deadly chemical weapon across the globe.

While interrupting an attack on a Kuwaiti oil tanker, Juan Cabrillo and his team discover something even more dangerous: a ruthless billionaire's dying wish has allowed a paralyzing chemical to end up in the hands of a terrorist group. When an Oregon crew member falls victim to the poison, Juan Cabrillo will stop at nothing to find an antidote before it is too late. He and his team must connect an ancient mystery with a cunning modern enemy in order to save millions of innocent lives, including their own.

This is the fifteenth installment in the Oregon Files series.  I have always enjoyed reading Clive Cussler and his many series.  It will be interesting to see the direction they will be taking now that he is gone.

The Romanov Ransom by Clive Cussler

The Romanov Ransom by Clive Cussler-387 pages

Sam and Remi Fargo are the ultimate cool couple.  The husband and wife team of treasure hunters are my favorite series from Clive Cussler. They have so much in common and what they don't share in common they compliment each other.  One is an excellent sharpshooter and good at languages.  The other is inventive and great at hand to hand conflict.  I love the history that Mr. Cussler brought to his books and I do hope that they find a way to continue on with his series.

This adventure takes them to Europe, Northern Africa and South America.  They are in search of the Romanov ransom...but so are the Werewolves, a Nazi guerrilla faction that want to bring about the Fourth Reich.  Action packed with surprises at every turn..I always enjoy the Fargo's.

Sam and Remi Fargo are a treasure hunting husband and wife duo who are on the lookout for ancient sacred scrolls that were stolen from a high priestess. The priestess cast a curse on the kingdom until the scrolls were returned, they never were and the kingdom fell.
Before Sam and Remi can start on the expedition, Remi and a group of students are taken hostage and there are signs that show the kidnapping and the missing scrolls are related. The Fargos now have to find the hidden treasure because their lives are at stake.
I did enjoy this book.

Celtic Empire

Celtic Empire by Clive Cussler 449 pages

Dirk Pitt is on a normal investigation in South America, when he gets tangled up in an international mystery. A bunch of seemingly unrelated riddles come together and it is up to Dirk to figure it out or else the future of humanity as we know it is at stake. I did enjoy reading this and would recommend it.
