Opinion: I'm not normally a memoir or autobiography reader. However, I'm very glad that I picked this book up because it was such a fun, relatable read. The book is comprised of short stories, letters, recipes, etc. to paint a picture of Dolly's life from late teens to early 30s. There were so many heartfelt and sad moments that had me near tears and so many funny moments that had me laughing. While reading this book, I felt like I had a connection or understanding with the author as I watched her face big life events and grow up. I'll definitely be recommending this book to friends.
