Sunday Supper by K. Sinko

Pages : 321

It is December so I can officially call it, this was my favorite book I have read this year.

So much that I initially read this on Kindle, and then had to buy a physical copy because I needed it in my own library.

For starters this book felt like I was reading a hallmark movie. It is also based in NY and I have a romanticized version of NY in my mind, which this book captured perfectly. Bella's family was very relatable and I kind of wanted her grandmother to adopt me into the family.

The story starts off with Bella. A girl who just lost everything, and learns that her family has a little secret of there own. A Uncle who owns a lot of restaurant's, she has not known about till now. In the hunt for a connection with her long lost Uncle, she meets a chef. That starts a flirtatious relationship over his deconstructed meatballs and her Nona's recipe.

This book is perfect for a cozy rainy day read. You will end up happy for the characters, rooting for there cute moments. Then whirled away into the drama that is the Uncle/Nona relationship.
