Owl Diaries - Eva's Treetop Festival by Rebecca Elliott (80 pages)
Synopsis: Eva Wingdale gets in over her head when she offers to organize a spring festival at school. Even with her best friend Lucy's help, there is NO way she will get everything done in time. Will Eva have to ask Sue (a.k.a. Meanie McMeanerson) for help? Or will the festival have to be cancelled?
Opinion: The Owl Diaries is a early chapter book series that contains both pictures and sentences on every page. This was a cute, light read that I think any young reader could enjoy. Especially those who may like owls or stories about day to day life. I really like that the words are on lines like notebook paper. I think that made it easier to focus on the text even as an adult.
