A Princess in Theory by Alyssa Cole, 373 pages
This book was recommended to me, and while I'm not a regular in the romance genre, it was refreshing to read a romance that focused on non-Eurocentric characters and culture (which, although the prince is from a fictional African kingdom, the culture Cole built draws from, Lesotho, is real).
The characters were well-developed and did not succumb to neither romanantic
nor ethnic-based tropes. Even though I enjoyed this book, I'm not sure I will read the second; it is supposed to center on one of the characters I enjoyed least. Perhaps I'll just skip to the third; I wouldn't mind some more time in Thesolo.
