Death of a Traitor by M.C. Beaton & R.W. Green-321 pages
#35 in the Hamish Macbeth series. Sergeant Hamish Macbeth investigates the disappearance of a local woman, Kate, who is alienated more than one of her neighbors after only living in the quaint village of Lochdubh for a year. Sergeant Macbeth soon finds that she was much more than she seemed. He quickly finds that she disappeared and left in her wake a trail deceit and finds himself on the hunt for a treacherous murderer. It was ok, a little too predictable for me.
