Whenever I desire a light, romantic read I turn to Jodi Thomas. Here we meet Ben and Virginia, a couple of middle age college professors who come together when they do a research project on the mating habits of college students. The more they work together Ben realizes that he might actually have had a weekend encounter twenty plus years ago with Virginia..one that neither one has forgotten. What does their future hold?
A college student, Ketch Kincaid (don't you just love the name?) reeling from a recent break up, takes the barmaid home..but being the gentleman that he is and knowing that she too is wounded by past loves and lies, take their time growing their friendship. Will it grow into something more?
Ms. Thomas always likes to give cameo rolls to characters that are in the series..so its always fun to see where they will pop up. The other reason I like her, there is always a mystery to be solved. I like the entire series alot and highly recommend it.
