The Home Edit by Clea Shearer and Joanna Teplin 256 pages
"The Home Edit" is an organization duo based out of Nashville, who specializes in making spaces beautiful and functional. They have a three step process for all spaces including take everything out, group like items, and pare down. This is meant to realize what you truly want in a space and then gives you tips to organize what is left, beautifully.
I liked that this book did have gorgeous and inspiring photos, and the authors also had a good sense of humor that definitely helps when reading something typically more dry such as a book on organization. Although I did not like this book for all the annoying name dropping, that it wasn't very practical (not a lot of people can afford to drop a bunch of money on expensive acrylic containers to pour their cereal into nor do a lot of people have the time to do that), and also, I just feel like the book didn't offer anything different from any of the other home organization books out there. Read Toni Hammersley's book instead.
