Annabelle and Bayard Van Duyvil seem to live a perfect life. They both come from good upbringings and fell in love in London. They have three year old twins and he recreated her old family home for them to live in. However, there are rumors she is having an affair. On their Twelfth Night Ball, Annabelle goes missing and Bayard is found murdered. Bayard's sister, Janie works with a reporter to try and find the truth. She is convinced her brother would never kill his wife, someone else had to have been involved, but as more of the story starts to unfold, Janie begins to question how much she really knew her brother and his wife.
