Kate Winters is left stranded in outlaw country with little chance of survival until she seems a group of outlaws hanging a man for his cattle. She waits until the group is gone so she can take her chance at claiming the dead mans horse, but he isn't dead.. Luke Bowden survived and now is hungry for vengeance. Although, the woman who saved him won't survive the ride back. He needs to make a choice on whether or not to save the woman or get his revenge.
