I am continuing to enjoy reading Goosebumps. In Phantom of the Auditorium, Brooke and Zeke are best friends and really want the main parts in the play, The Phantom. There's a legend, however, that this play is cursed as the last time it was to be put on the boy who was to play the title character disappeared and was never seen again. Zeke gets the title character and Brooke is cast as Esmerelda. Strange happenings start to occur, however, as soon as they start rehearsing for the play. Is the Phantom real or is it a "real" person (or perhaps both)?
