Ghost Beach (Classic Goosebumps #15; Goosebumps #22) by R.L. Stine

Ghost Beach (Classic Goosebumps #15; Goosebumps #22) by R.L. Stine-160 pages

I am continuing to enjoy reading Goosebumps and I plan to read a few more yet. In this one, Jerry and Terri are spending the summer with their distant (and they don't yet know how "distant") cousins, Brad and Agatha. Soon after arriving at their cousins' quaint cottage in the Northeast, they meet three other kids their age named Sam, Louisa, and Nat. However, they soon find out that these are the same names on graves in the small local graveyard which mark children who died in the 1600's. There is a cave where an old man who Sam, Louisa, and Nat say is a ghost lives. Jerry and Terri venture into the cave and hatch a plan with the other children to ensnare the ghost in the cave. The old man, who turns out to be Harrison Sadler (all the locals are Sadlers as are Jerry and Terri) says that Sam, Louisa, and Nat are the real ghosts, not him. Who is telling the truth? Is the old man, Harrison, the ghost or is it Sam, Louisa, and Nat? If it is Sam, et al, then are Brad and Agatha also ghosts because there are graves in the graveyard with their names, also? Read the book to find out!
