Josh and Amanda Benson are moving to a large, creepy old house in a different neighborhood/town called Dark Falls because their parents got this house for free from their Great Uncle (supposedly). However, Josh and Amanda quickly realize everything is not as it seems in this house or in this town. Something is strange about the kids (and adults) in their neighborhood and Josh and Amanda's dog, Petey, won't stop growling and barking at them. I enjoyed reading this one, especially because the ending leaves the reader room to interpret what it means.
